Who we are

Jersey Shore Sites builds custom websites for local businesses in Monmouth and Ocean County, New Jersey. This policy covers jerseyshoresites.com, including the sample sites under /samples/, the contact form on the homepage and the client intake form. Questions about it go to [email protected].

What we collect

• Contact form. The "free mockup" form on our homepage opens your own email app with your name, business name, town, type of business and message filled in. Nothing is sent until you send that email, and it arrives in our business email inbox.
• Client intake form. If you fill out our intake form, we collect what you enter: your name and contact details, your business details (such as address or service area, hours, services and prices, licenses, reviews you choose to share, social links and domain preferences) and any photos or logo files you upload.
• Email and phone. Anything you send us directly by email, text or phone.
• Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider handles standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. When you submit the intake form, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and your browser type to block spam. We can't turn the hashed version back into your IP address.

What we don't do

• We don't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
• We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
• We don't add you to a mailing list from these forms.

The intake form saves your answers in your own browser (local storage) as you go, so you can finish later. That copy stays on your device and is cleared when you submit the form or click "Start over."

How we use it

We use what you send only to reply to you, prepare a quote or free mockup, and design, build and hand off your website. Business details you send for your site (such as your services, hours, photos and reviews) are meant to be published on your website, with your approval.

Where it's stored

Intake form submissions and uploaded files are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website. Emails you send us are stored in our business email account. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the site and do the work, or if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep project information for as long as we need it to build and hand off your site and keep records of the project. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information you've sent us, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. Please only send photos, logos and reviews that you own or have permission to use.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
